Join us in The Book Bouquet for a relaxed Sunday afternoon chat, enjoy light refreshments and support local author Faith Hughes as we launch her debut sci-fi novel - Half Breed.

Helen from The Book Bouquet will be chatting with Faith about her experience as a first-time published author and her writing process to create her first novel.

The world thinks she's just a normal college student. The military knows she's the key to creating their greatest weapon.

Kenzi Blake has spent her life hiding, suppressing the unnatural abilities she was born with, trying to blend into a world that would fear her if they knew the truth.

She has spent years walking the line between the life she wants and the one she keeps buried beneath the surface. Her mother's death has sparked fragments of a childhood event that would change the course of her life forever. Then an unexpected night at a bar goes viral, and everything changes.

With her sister's life on the line and powerful forces closing in, hiding is no longer an option. A Colonel and his forces are hunting her down, relentless in the pursuit of finishing what they started.

Kenzi Blake is a survivor, but she might not like what she finds.

There is no charge to attend but registration is required.
