HEART CONNECTION - PARTNER MOVEMENT - ZENTHAI SHIATSU FLOW - MUSIC - TEA

Weaving therapeutic elements inspired by acroyoga, flying therapeutics, contact improv dance & Zenthai shiatsu together for a guided partner flow.
We will begin with Qi Gong, warm up and connect to one another with partner movement exercises and then follow along a guided Zenthai Shiatsu massage sequence, giving each person an opportunity to relax and unwind in therapeutic touch. After the practice will be free time to share tea & discussion.

The intention of this workshop is connecting intimately and authentically with others, dropping deeply into the body and sharing an experience that will leave you walking away feeling lighter in body and heart. This is a space to hold & be held. A practice and space created to be a refuge from the ever tugging strings of life. In which together we can untangle.

What is Zenthai Shiatsu?
Zenthai Shiatsu is a floor-based clothed massage, created by Gwyn Williams in the Sunshine Coast. It is a unique fusion of thai massage, zen shiatsu and osteopathic and remedial techniques, given through the lens of traditional chinese medicine. It is a holistic heart-based therapy centred around presence, touch and connection.

Do you need a partner/ can I bring a partner?
You do not need a partner, we will partner you up & it’s a great chance to connect with new people to come on your own.

What do I need to bring?
A water bottle, towel if you get sweaty when exercising, clothes that you can move easily in and go upside down (think yoga, stretchy pants, fitted top or shirt) & your smile!

ABOUT THE FACILITATOR:

Monique is passionate about creativity, connection and freedom through movement. Her movement background began with competitive olympic weightlifting and in 2019 found the world of circus, falling in love with hand balance, partner acrobatics and acro yoga. She then fell in love with the expression of fire dancing, performing across festival and events on the east coast over the past three years. She is a Registered Nurse and Zenthai Shiatsu Therapist in the Northern Rivers NSW.
