Have you ever wondered what a Higher Degree by Research (HDR) is all about? What it would be like to be a HDR student? Or what world-leading research is conducted in the School of Electrical and Mechanical Engineering?

If so, please join us for our combined Inaugural EME Higher Degree Symposium and HDR Pathway Information Session, followed by a Pizza Night!

4:35 pm - Information about Higher Degree by Research studies:
- What is a Higher Degree by Research?
- How do I begin to find a project and a supervisor?
- What should I look for in making a decision about what and where?
4:45 pm - Research leads presentation:
- 3-minute presentations from 10 research leaders
- Q&A panel session with current HDR students
5:45 pm - Pizza and networking (FlexLab)
6:30 pm - End
