Event description

Exhibitions opening

We are pleased to invite you to the opening night of our three new summer exhibitions on Friday, 28 November from 6pm–8pm.

Ako ay may kaibigan, kasama ko kahit saan (I have a friend; where I go, they go)

…and there’s no one around to hear it

Brown Pillars II

These three exhibitions were selected from last year’s Call for Proposals for their excellence in artistic and technical merit, and in recognition of our commitment to discovering emerging talent and fostering community involvement.

These exhibitions round out a brilliant 2025 program, including the blockbuster The Playground Project Melbourne, CHTHONIC CHOURUS as part of Midsumma Festival, and our First Nations-led project Big Smart guest curated by Nicholas Currie. Thank you for your continued support of our visual arts programming, it's been a remarkable year of creativity, art education and connection. A heartfelt thanks to all of this year’s exhibiting artists, workshop educators and audiences.

These exhibitions will be showing until Saturday, 17 January. Incinerator Gallery will be closed during the holiday period from Saturday, 22 December, reopening on Wednesday, 7 January.

We look forward to welcoming you.
