Tableware
In this class you will learn how to create functional fused and slumped tableware. You can choose from making small dishes, plates or bowls. Bethany will demonstrate how to cut glass and the basics of fusing glass in the kiln. Students should supply their own sheet of clear as a base and will have access to a range of Oceanside 96 fusing glass in transparent and opaque sheet and as well as frit and stringers. Previous students may work on their own projects for firing.
Please bring these materials:
300 x 300 x .3mm single sheet of clear Oceanside compatible fusing glass
Safety glasses or eye shields (worn over prescription glasses)
This workshop cost includes firing service. Ticket buyers will be notified via email when the finished artworks are available for collection.
