About the Workshop
This free workshop will help you become more confident in advocating for your child in the education system. Come along to experience and learn about:
- What a day in an inclusive classroom looks like
- The importance of presuming competence
- Inclusive teaching strategies to maximise participation and achievement - UDL, peer learning and more!
- What to advocate for and how to advocate for it
- Tips for achieving a successful partnership with school
Attendance at this workshop will be limited to 18 attendees to ensure that we comply with COVID Safe Plan requirements in place at the venue.

- Please arrive at 9:00 AM to sign in, for a 9:30 AM start. Concludes at 12:30 PM.
Venue details:
- The venue is CRU Office
- Level 2, 43 Peel Street, South Brisbane QLD 4101
- After hours access requires you to phone CRU. Please ring 3844 2211 upon arrival for out-of-hours entry into the building
- Attendance is FREE, but bookings are essential
- A light meal will be provided upon arrival
