Inclusive Community Experience is a community-based, non-segregated activity designed to bring people with and without disability together in a safe, welcoming environment. The experience focuses on connection, awareness, and belonging through shared participation rather than separate programs.

The session includes a guided group art activity and a short awareness component, creating a relaxed space where participants can interact naturally, build social confidence, and learn respectful interaction through doing, not instruction. The emphasis is on shared experience, mutual understanding, and feeling comfortable in ordinary community settings.

This activity aligns with NDIS Activity A – Community, Social and Civic Participation, supporting social connection, inclusive interaction skills, and capacity building. It also reflects the broader direction of community inclusion by encouraging participation in mainstream spaces rather than parallel systems.

Inclusive Community Experience is open to participants, families, and community members who value genuine inclusion. It is designed to strengthen relationships, reduce social barriers, and foster a sense of belonging for everyone involved.
