Event description

Experience the beautiful landscape and charming views of the Onkaparinga River National Park. Slow down to Earth Time. Connect with the natural cycles of the seasons, sun and moon. Wonder in awe. Open up to the landscape with respect and reverence.

Supported by National Parks and Wildlife Service to celebrate Park of the Month. 

Join Sophie from EcoSoul Experiences to experience forest bathing, deep ecology and creative exercises. An immersive experience to leave you feeling relaxed, connected and inspired.

What to expect?

- Slowing down in the natural environment, using forest bathing (shinrin yoku) practices. Includes some sitting and slow walking over a short distance (approximately 2km in total on a compacted gravel path with gentle inclines that is suitable for all abilities, and is wheelchair-friendly).

- Tuning mindfully into the senses to experience the healing benefits of the natural world.

- Some interactive exercises including opportunities to share your experience.

Meet at 9.15am at the Punchbowl Lookout Carkpark between Gates 8 and 9 on Piggott Range Road.

The nearest toilets are located at the Sundews Carpark near Gate 11.

- weather-appropriate clothing including protection from any sun, rain or wind
