Inclusive Pathways and Careers Expo

The Inclusive Careers and Pathways Expo on Thursday 13 June 2024 will provide opportunities for students living with disability to explore a full range of career options, connect with industry and support services, and build their post-school pathway all under one roof.

The expo will include over 60 exhibitors with representation from all service and employment sectors including:

• industry employment partners
• micro enterprise
• registered training organisations
• further education
• support services
• South Australian Government
• recreation and the arts
• disability employment services
• NDIS.

A hands-on learning experience

The expo will include interactive displays and hands-on activities to immerse students and a variety of presentations about post school pathways.

There will be structured quiet hours and a dedicated sensory space.

Food and drink will be available for purchase on site.

Location: Ridley Centre, Adelaide Showgrounds, Wayville SA 5034

Getting to and from the venue

Schools that have been provided with a Sunshine Coach are encouraged to use them for this event. If you are requiring transport to the expo, Variety – the Children’s Charity has generously provided funding for bus transport. • Contact for “on the day” including name and mobile phone number.
• Number of passengers.
• Preferred pick-up time from the school and again from the venue.
• Best pick up location for the school.
• Wheelchair requirements: Can the passenger exit the wheelchair to board the bus, or do they need to remain in the wheelchair?
