Would you know what to do with your assistance animal or household pet in an emergency?

When disasters and emergencies happen, it's important to have a plan that considers everyone in your household—including your assistance animal or beloved pet.

Join us for this free, practical workshop to learn how to develop a personalised emergency plan that supports your health needs, medications, essential equipment, and the animals who depend on you.

During this interactive session, we'll explore:

• Planning for your health, medications and essential medical equipment before, during and after an emergency.

• Preparing your assistance animal or household pet for emergencies.

• What to include in an emergency kit for both you and your animal.

• Evacuation planning and animal-friendly accommodation options.

• Practical strategies and local resources to help you feel prepared and confident.

This workshop is suitable for:

• People living with disability.

• Older adults.

• Carers, family members and support workers.

• Anyone with an assistance animal or household pet who wants to be better prepared for emergencies.

By the end of the workshop, you'll have practical tools and resources to help create an emergency plan that reflects your individual circumstances and supports the wellbeing of both you and your animal.

This workshop is free to attend, but registrations are essential.
