    Event description

Are you an LGBTIQA+ person with disability living in 'Australia'? You are invited to Inclusive Rainbow Voices' community consultation series!

Inclusive Rainbow Voices (IRV) is an intersectional disabled people’s organisation by and for LGBTIQA+ people with disability. IRV was founded in 2021 by a group of LGBTIQA+ Victorians with disability to address the lack of representation and understanding of our communities. Our Board members and staff are exclusively LGBTIQA+ people with disability, who have worked towards change for our communities over decades. IRV was launched in 2023 and has employed its first part time Chief Executive Officer

IRV is a new organisation, and we want to hear from our community about what you think we should work on over the next 5 years.

This workshop is located at the Bendigo Library. To find out about future online and in-person consultations, please visit our Instagram page or sign up to our newsletter at irv.org.au.

We also encourage you to fill out our survey here.

Our consultations will be held in wheelchair accessible buildings. We will have portable air purifiers and masks available. The sessions will have a maximum of 20 people, and will involve facilitated group discussions. Please let us know if you have any access needs so we can support you to attend. We encourage you to wear a mask and to test for COVID-19 before the session if possible. Please do not attend if you have COVID-19 symptoms, we can work with you at a later date.

If you have any queries, please reach out to hello@irv.org.au
