This Seniors Month, the Gold Coast Inclusion Network (GCIN) invites you to a special session focused on inclusive wellbeing for older Australians. This interactive session will highlight practical strategies for inclusion, drawing on lived experience from older Australians, allied health expertise, and collaborative co-design activities.
Across workplaces, services, and community programs, older Australians bring enormous value, yet too often face barriers to participation, connection, and wellbeing. This interactive session will highlight practical strategies for inclusion, drawing on lived experience, allied health expertise, and collaborative co-design activities.
What to expect:
Explore trends and barriers impacting older Australians
Learn practical, evidence-based strategies for inclusion
Work through real-world scenarios in small groups
Leave with a 90-day Inclusion Action Plan you can put into practice immediately
This session is part of GCIN’s regular monthly program and has been extended to 2 hours for Seniors Month.
Speakers / Facilitators
Ankush Dogra – Exercise Physiologist, Active Flow Rehab
Ankush specialises in supporting older Australians and people with disability to stay active, connected, and engaged. He brings an allied health perspective on mobility, wellbeing, and program adaptations.
Therese Dogra – Inclusion Consultant & GCIN Host
Therese is the founder of Collaborative Culture and co-facilitates the Gold Coast Inclusion Network, bringing experience in co-design, lived experience leadership, and practical inclusion strategies across sectors.
Community Voices – Three older Australians will join us to share their lived experience and perspectives on ageing, inclusion, and wellbeing.

Gain practical tools to adapt programs, services, and workplaces
Experience collaborative co-design activities in action
Walk away with a personalised 90-day Inclusion Action Plan
