In this session, hosted by Selwyn District Council, we will talk with legal experts Steven Moe and Annemarie Mora about Incorporated Societies and what is needed to reregister ahead of the April 2026 deadline.  Bring along your questions and note that there are resources to look at in advance at this information hub


Steven Moe is a Partner at Parry Field Lawyers with a focus on “for purpose” organisations which has 100 staff across 5 offices and a focus on impact and has written guides on incorporated societies – lots of info is at
this information hub.  He is on the Charities Services sector group and has worked as a lawyer for 24 years including 11 years overseas based in Tokyo, London and Sydney, and since 2016 has been based back in New Zealand. Steven hosts seeds podcast which has a focus on people doing inspiring things which has 451 episodes and another on governance for the Institute of Directors called Board Matters
