Join us for this Lunch and Learn with Dave Sammut, Founder and Managing Director at Loop Hydrometallurgy and Associate at Access RnD + EMDG.
This workshop will cover:
- Grants Readiness: Including insights on business plans, marketing strategy, pitch decks, project plans, and a grant guideline list for distribution.
- Grants Landscape: Outlining the competitive nature of grants, major NSW grants, federal government grants, and specific success stories like our work in the Aquaculture space.
- Scope of RnD Mentoring Services: Detailing how businesses can engage with RnD, consultation offerings, assistance with grant application responses and contacts for supporting grant material.
The workshop's hands-on approach will equip attendees with practical tools and knowledge to capitalise on both discretionary and Government grant funding opportunities.
About Dave
Dave is a multifaceted scientist with nearly 30 years of industry experience and startup founder in the MQ DeepTech Incubator. Whether as an industrial research metallurgist, R&D Tax Incentive agent, entrepreneur, or STEM careers advisor and mentor, Dave's enthusiasm for the diverse world of corporate endeavour is contagious. His experience includes commercialising breakthrough technology, providing consulting on government incentives, contributing to education as an Adjunct Senior Lecturer at UNSW, and even telling bad jokes as an amateur stand-up comedian. His knowledge and engaging approach promise to make the workshop both enlightening and enjoyable.
