This year, we are delighted to once again present the Independence Cocktail, specially crafted to honour the spirit of independence at the heart of our mission.

We are thrilled to welcome Adrienne Francis as the Master of Ceremonies for Independence Illuminated: A Night of Celebration and Impact. Adrienne is a trusted television, radio and digital journalist with ABC Canberra, where she presents the ABC Canberra 7pm News each Friday and Saturday night. With more than twenty-two years at ABC, Adrienne brings a warm, engaging and professional presence to events of all scales.

Her experience spans major news and current affairs roles across the Australian Capital Territory and Northern Territory, including reporting for 7.30 ACT, and hosting leading programs on ABC Radio Canberra and ABC Local Radio. Adrienne’s commitment to giving voice to community stories makes her the perfect guide for an evening dedicated to celebrating impact, inclusion and independence.
