Indian Cooking Class
Description
Indian Cooking Class – led by Nazareth parents Akhil and Nivi Palta
Join us for a hands-on Indian cooking experience where we'll cook two delicious dishes completely from scratch:
· Coconut Chicken Curry – a rich and fragrant curry with creamy coconut and warming spices.
· Kadai Paneer – a vibrant North Indian vegetarian dish featuring paneer, capsicum, onions, and freshly ground spices.
Wait… No Butter Chicken?! Yes, it's taking the night off!
While Butter Chicken may be one of the most well-known Indian dishes, Indian cuisine is so much more than one dish. With diverse regional flavours, spices, and traditions spanning the country, there's a whole world of Indian food waiting to be explored.
This class is your chance to discover some new favourites, learn about Indian spices and cooking techniques, and hear the stories behind these dishes- all while enjoying great food and even better company.
Come curious, come hungry, and get ready to spice up your cooking repertoire! Attendees will cook in teams of two. Feel free to register with a friend, or we’ll happily pair you with another participant.
Please note, this is a parent and caregivers' event only.
