Indigenous Biodiversity Workshop: Monitoring Flora and Fauna on Your Property
Event description
Understanding what indigenous flora and fauna exists on your property helps to foster biodiversity and protect threatened species on your property.
Join Ron Bull, Dr David Norton, Simon Stokes and Ash Rabel in this hands on workshop that will give you an overview of on-farm biodiversity, take you through monitoring protocols that will help you identify your natives, track changes over time, and fulfil regulatory reporting requirements.
This will be followed by a discussion on bi-cultural perspectives of managing biodiversity with our panel in a Q&A with the audience.
The workshop covers bird counts, vegetation photo points, aquatic health, eDNA sampling and visual soil assessments.
