Simone’s connections are to the Aboriginal/Islander community of Fingal Head (Booningbah) on Gudjingburra Country. Born and raised on her home community and adopted Aboriginal community of Marribank (WA), Simone’s life experiences have shaped her work and life choices to serve community in paid and voluntary capacities. Simone has contributed and led delivering services to urban, regional and remote communities including Aboriginal learner support and teaching, business development, Aboriginal engagement, marketing and people development.
John is a proud Indigenous man and Aboriginal Business Advisory Initiative (ABAI) advisor for the North Coast & Mid Coast region. As an experienced business and cultural mentor with over 20 years business experience, John has an intimate understanding of the many challenges Aboriginal business owners go through, providing the insight, knowledge, and strength needed for business success combined with the ability to understand Culture. John has gained worked across many fields of community and business management including relief coordinating Parnngurr - a remote community in the Pilbara region of Western Australia, retail store ownership and the creation of AIAA (Aquarium Industry Association of Australia).
