Indigenous businesses assert their mark through their products, services and ways of working, embodying self-determination and showcasing what Indigenous business excellence truly represents.

Indigenous Business Month was established twelve years ago and is held annually from 1-31 October across Austrialia. This initiative is driven by the Alumni of Melbourne Business School's MURRA Indigenous Business Master Class Program. As the organiser and MC of this year's event, Christine Ross is proud to be a Murra Alumni.

While twelve years may seem a small corner of time, it sits within a long, ongoing tapestry of Indigenous enterprise. Over the past three decades, the Indigenous business sector has grown and flourished, making a meaningful contribution to communities, relationships and ways of doing business.
