Event description

Take a tour of the mounds left by the indigenous people who inhabited the coasts of Florida in the past. Look closer at the skills and tools required to live in old Florida. Experience the beautiful coastal scenery of the estuary. Program suitable for ages 10 and up. For more information, please contact sara.alvarezcollazo@mymanatee.org.

This is a short hike of about a mile with about 6 stair steps and an inclined ramp up the largest mound.
