Indigenous Nationals Trials 2026
Description
2026 is the 30th Indigenous Nationals sporting competition. This year, the week-long multisport competition for Indigenous student-athletes will be hosted by the University of Newcastle. The sports include Volleyball, Basketball, Touch Football, and Netball.
This opportunity extends beyond sport, serving as a chance to connect with the Indigenous community from campuses across the country.
Four trials will be held, one for each sport. There will be four opportunities for make-up trials. The schedule is as follows:
Week 1` (OVER)
Volleyball
Basketball
Week 2
Touch Football (over)
Netball (over)
Friday, 27th Feb 7:30-8:30AM: Make-up trials 2 (only for athletes missing Touch and/or Netball)
Week 3
Tuesday, 3rd Mar 6:00-7:00PM: Make-up Trials 3 (for Netball and Basketball)
Thursday, 5th Mar 7:30-8:30AM: Make-up Trials 4 (for Touch & Volleyball)
Please arrive by 15 minutes early for each of the trials you attend.
Please come to as many as possible for as long as possible. If you need to be late, or leave early, just let us know!
