IndigifestOZ on Walyalup Waterfront
Description
In honour of NAIDOC week, Gage Roads Freo have partnered with CinefestOZ to bring IndigifestOZ to Walyalup. Join us at Gage Freo, on Thursday 6th July, as we come together to celebrate the ancient tradition of storytelling through the art of film.
IndigifestOZ showcases quality Indigenous film works and engages filmgoers through a combination of both Feature Film screenings and Short Film events and in Community settings. In promoting Aboriginal film works, new audiences develop, as does an increased awareness and understanding of culture and appreciation of Aboriginal talent.
Enjoy a lineup of West Australian Short Films, followed by live music from the talented local legend, Lachy John.
