INDIGITEK PRESENTS: MICHAEL ROME
Join us for our next Indigitek Networking Event, hosted by Blackbird.
We will be joined by our special guest speaker, Michael Rome.
Michael is a multicultural Australian with roots in the Torres Strait Islands. From writing software at the tender age of seven to coaching Agility at one of Australia’s leading banks, Michael has always been driven by his passions in technology and psychology.
Michael began his professional journey as a software engineer, a field where he has consistently applied his skills to develop innovative solutions in habit-forming behavioural change, effective teamwork and decomposition. Michael is deeply interested in developing models that support ways in which people work, think, learn and lead—especially in the new age of Artificial Intelligence.
Over the past five years, Michael has significantly contributed to the Commonwealth Bank of Australia, where he took on roles that involved coaching at all levels. His last year at the bank was particularly focused on cultivating a new generation of Agility Coaches, a testament to his belief in the transformative power of effective coaching.
Currently, Michael is channelling his expertise into the exploration and development of ideas leveraging artificial intelligence. This new venture reflects his ongoing commitment to staying at the cutting edge of technology and behavioural practices.
We are looking forward to being inspired by Michael! We hope you will stick around for a yarn and connect with others interested or working in the Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts and Mathematics (STEAM) space.
There will be free food and drinks provided at the end of the event.
