Discover the ideas, insights and collaborations shaping research on Indonesia today 

Join researchers from across the University of Sydney for a showcase of Indonesia-focused research, highlighting new thinking across disciplines on Indonesia’s evolving challenges and opportunities. 

Building on the University’s long history of engagement with Indonesia, dating back to the establishment of Australia’s first Indonesian studies department in the 1950s, this event will feature current research across environment, language, law, culture, economics and health. 

Chaired by SSEAC’s Indonesia Country Convenor A/Prof Jeff Neilson, the showcase will bring together projects that deepen understanding, inform policy and support future collaboration across Indonesia and the region.
