Indoor Plant Insights Workshop - Smithfield
Event description
Have you bought an indoor plant but been unsure about how to look after it?
Have you thought about growing indoor plants but don't know where to start?
Do you believe you are a good gardener, that indoor plant should really have tried harder?
If any of your answers are yes, then this is the workshop for you!
Join Samantha Rayson from the South Australian Begonia Society for an introduction to growing and maintaining indoor plants and a workshop where you get to create your own special soil mix and pot up an indoor plant to take home for yourself!
In this workshop Samantha will take us through the essentials of indoor plant care including:
How much light they require
When and how to water
What type of fertilisation/soil is best
What to do when you have a new indoor plant.
She will then lead us through mixing up a special indoor plant soil mix before repotting some young indoor plants into bigger pots using that soil mix.
Your plant is FREE with your workshop ticket, PLUS we'll have discounts on indoor plants and fertilisers for those attending on the day.
Feel free to bring along any indoor plant questions and photos for advice from Samantha. We look forward to seeing you then.
