We plan to organize reverse co-ed games, provided we have a balanced ratio of men to women participants

Basic Concept: In Reverse Co-Ed Volleyball, the court is divided into front and back rows. Women have more attacking opportunities in the front row, while men are restricted to passing and hitting from the back row.

Team Composition: Typically, teams consist of three women and three men. However, variations like two men and four women are also common.

Rotation: Players rotate positions on the court but maintain their roles (front row or back row) throughout the game.

  • Attacking:
  • Women can attack from anywhere on the court.
  • Men can only attack from behind the 3-meter line, meaning they cannot jump and hit the ball over the net if they are in front of this line.
  • Blocking:
  • Women can block at the net.
  • Men are not allowed to block or attempt to block at the net.
  • Defense:
  • All players, regardless of gender, can participate in defensive plays.
  • Standard volleyball defensive strategies apply.

The height of the net for reverse co-ed play shall be 2.24 m (7’4 1/8”).
