Industry Engagement Tools: A Practical Workshop for EMCRs

In today’s research landscape, fostering meaningful connections with industry and government is essential for advancing impactful projects and securing collaboration opportunities. This practical workshop, designed for UWA’s Early to Mid-Career Researchers (EMCRs), will provide valuable tools to help initiate these relationships. 
 
During this hands-on workshop, we will explore and apply three essential tools to: 

• Articulate the significance and impact of your research to stakeholders outside your technical discipline. 

• Enhance your online profile to appeal to industry and other external stakeholders. 

• Develop a strategic industry engagement plan tailored to your research and collaboration goals.

Please bring your laptop and charger to participate in real-time activities. 

A light morning tea will be provided.

Staff from the Office of Industry and Commercial Development and the Library will be on hand to guide you and provide personalised feedback throughout the workshop.
