Join us at the Industry Innovators school-holiday program, where we'll be working with students over three action-packed days to develop inventive solutions to everyday challenges faced by the world's largest industries.

Throughout the program, students will be mentored and guided by an expert team of facilitators as they strive to come up with answers to real-world challenges, as they learn the skills needed to thrive in an ever-changing future of work.

There is also an exciting optional opportunity for students to board at Ipswich Girls' Grammar School for the duration of the program to fully immerse themselves in the challenge.

Frequently Asked Questions
What Is Included In The Day & Boarding Ticket Bundle?
Students can spend the nights of the 27th and 28th of September in the Ipswich Girls' Grammar Boarding House (Cribb House). Cribb House is a home-away-from-home where students can stay in rooms of 2 – 4 students. There are common rooms, big screens with access to a range of streaming platforms and plenty of areas to socialise or relax on the verandah. Students who select the Boarding option will be provided with all meals and snacks. They will enjoy an action-packed evening of fun games and activities in the school gymnasium, and an evening of films and/or board games. They will be fully supervised by boarding house staff, who are contactable by parents at any time throughout the program.

Who Is This Program For?
This program is open to students in Years 6-10.

When Does The Program Run?
The program will be running from September 27th to September 29th. This is a 3-day program, with each day running as below:

27th of September, 1:00pm - 4:00pm

28th of September, 8:00am - 4:00pm

29th of September, 8:00am - 1:00pm

What Do Students Need To Bring?
Day Ticket Students: We ask that students bring morning tea, lunch and a device (laptop/tablet/etc.) if they have one. All other equipment will be provided. Please note we will also be having a BBQ lunch for all ticket holders on the final day.

Day Ticket + Boarding Bundle Tickets: All meals are provided, we ask that you please bring a device (laptop/tablet/etc).

Do Students Need Any Prior Experience?
Students don't need any prior experience for this program. We will be able to cater to different skill levels and interest areas. We just ask that students are excited, willing to participate in developing an innovate solution for their chosen industry partner.
