Are you a parent or guardian of a young person and struggling to navigate services?

Join Carer Gateway, EPIC and Youth Up Front in an empowering and interactive information session for adults on supporting young people to navigate adolescence and the support services available for them and their loved ones.

Bookings essential.

Book into the information session and learn about the best supports for young people. The interactive session will include:

Government support services available for Young carers
Counselling, support groups, mentors and networks
Help with stress and physical health
Supporting changes in a young person's role and navigating adolescence
Mindfulness activity

Chat to peers and providers at the end of the session over a cup of tea and refreshments.

EPIC (Empowering Parents In Crisis) provide peer support to parents and carers of young people in crisis. EPIC recognises parents as first responders to their children and supports them by creating a safe, non judgmental community that empowers parents with the knowledge, skills and confidence to enable them to best support their young person, their family and themselves.

Youth Up Front is a registered Australian charity that helps young people transition from adolescence to adulthood. We have inspired more than 100,000 students over more than 20 years. Together we improve the lives of children by providing outreach and vocational programmes, mentoring, case worker and personal development support.

Carer Gateway’s Young Carer program is a federal government initiative that supports young people aged between 12 and 24 who provide support to a family member or friend who has a medical condition, a mental health concern, a disability or is frail due to age. The program delivers a range of free supports and services to assist these Young Carers.
