Information Session: Elliott Scholars Program
Description
Northwestern University undergraduates are invited to a lunchtime information session on the Roberta Buffett Institute for Global Affairs' Elliott Scholars Program. Lunch will be provided.
The Elliott Scholars Program brings together a cohort of undergraduates to explore a critical issue in global affairs through coursework, engagement with leading scholars and practitioners, and experiential learning during a summer internship abroad. In 2026–27, Elliott Scholars will focus on international development and global poverty. Scholars will take a two-quarter course sequence with development economists Christopher Udry, Northwestern professor and co-director of the Global Poverty Research Lab, and Nana Amma Asante-Poku, a research fellow at the University of Ghana. Students will build on this learning through an international internship with a community-based organization during the summer. Learn more >>
