The Academy of the Social Sciences extends a warm invitation to join an online information session about the Workshops Program 2025, specifically tailored for prospective applicants, on Thursday 4 July from 10:00 - 10.45am AEST.

The Academy Workshops Program offers financial assistance to Australian social scientists to host multidisciplinary workshops, aimed at advancing research and policy agendas on nationally important issues. Each year, up to eight workshops are funded, with grants of up to $9,000 (excl. GST).

In this session, we will provide a comprehensive overview of the Workshops Program, covering its purpose, scope, eligibility criteria, benefits, and application process. Additionally, you'll hear firsthand experiences from past participants, from the preparation of their applications to the completion and delivery of their workshops, and beyond.

The session will also include a Q&A segment to address any questions you may have. Whether you're curious about the program's impact, the selection process, or any other aspect, our team will be available to provide answers and guidance.
