    Event description

After offering Zenthai Shiatsu Elements workshops at events in Queensland as well as the Byron and Bellingen Shires, Nicholas Gilchrist brings his unique approach to Zenthai Flow and embodiment work to Dancehouse Melbourne.

    ABOUT

Working with presence and curiosity through the modalities of zenthai shiatsu, qi gong, exploratory movement and authentic connection, participants will engage with new ways of experiencing their body, as well as having the opportunity to deepen their connection through the art of healing touch.

This workshop provides a solid introduction into the world of Zenthai Shiatsu and its relationship with Traditional Chinese Medicine. The practices that will be explored are intended to inspire a deepened respect for the bodymind, with an emphasis on felt presence. Nicholas endeavours to create a space where people can express themselves and witness others in a more real way. This can be beneficial as it is often absent in our day to day experience.

Self enquiry will be explored through practices which move from light hearted play to deeper, felt journeying; cultivating an ability to navigate these terrains with awareness and intelligence.

    WHO IS IT FOR?

This workshop can benefit absolute beginners in movement and bodywork practices as well as experienced movers and practicing Zenthai Shiatsu Therapists. If your curiosity and/or intuition are calling you to attend, this can be trusted.
