Spend a slow and creative afternoon exploring Chinese calligraphy while enjoying hand-whisked matcha.

Through mindful movements, participants will experience the joy of creating with ink, leaving with not only a finished artwork but also a renewed sense of calm.

Hosted at Mori Coffee, a cozy Japanese-inspired café in Blackburn, this experience celebrates craftsmanship, creativity, and the beauty of slowing down.

Never held a calligraphy brush before? Perfect. This workshop is designed for exactly that.

In two hours, participants will learn the foundations of Chinese calligraphy before creating their own artwork—a meaningful word, phrase, or their name—to take home. They'll also enjoy hand-whisked matcha and a basque cheesecake prepared by Mori Coffee.

No art background needed. No pressure. Just a brush, a bowl of matcha, and a willingness to get a little inky.

Whether you're looking for a unique experience in Melbourne, curious about Chinese brushwork, or simply wanting a mindful afternoon away from busy schedules, this workshop is for you.

Come slow down, create, and enjoy the beauty of ink and matcha together.
