A few things to note:

Please bring your own water bottle/thermos - especially if you wish to have a warm drink.
Bring along your own yoga mat and cushion + blanket - layers are always a good idea.
If you have and wish to use an eye mask that would be fantastic.
Please ensure you haven't eaten a very heavy meal up to 1 hour before our start time.
Please arrive 10 minutes early to set yourself up, aquaint with the space and each other.
Please bring along anything else to support your journey - essential oils, crystals etc. But truly, you don't "need" anything.
Please have a journal and pen handy too.

Notes regarding breathwork:

Breathwork is a safe, self-healing modality, however it can and often does bring up wounds and patterns for healing. This can be a cathartic experience where you might release through tears, crying and other somatic based shifts are common. There is NOTHING to be afraid of and is all part of the healing process.

Breathwork is not a substitute for medical or psychological diagnosis or treatment. I do not diagnosemedical or psychological conditions, perform medical treatment, prescribe substances, provide counseling, nor interfere with the treatment of licensed medical or psychological professionals. The practices within this class is offered as a tool for spiritual and personal growth and not as medical or psychotherapeutic advice. I make no claims to heal medical or psychological conditions; any healing subsequent to advanced breathwork practice is a result of self-healing. Please seek out the support and guidance needed to support your healing journey. Breathwork can often bring up feelings of discomfort, emotional and physical release and awaken spiritual experiences.

It is your responsibility to ground, centre and self-care post session. I encourage you to care for your mind, body, soul with good clean food, movement, meditation and time in nature. I will provide suggestions and as much support on grounding as possible.

It is your responsibility to contact me with any particular mental, emotional or physical challenges (including trauma that still affects you) that you feel may impact your ability to participate in the Breathwork Medicine Classes.

I observe the Ethical Standards for Breathworkers of the International Breathwork Training Alliance. If you require further support please contact Claire - claire@claireobeid.com - for private breathwork, EFT or coaching sessions.
