Inner Altar is a sacred ceremony designed to reconnect you with the wisdom of your body, awaken the energy that moves through your spine and open your heart through the sacred breath.

This immersive experience weaves together the grounding medicine of Hapé, the transformational power of transformational breathwork and the energetic recalibration of Spinal Energetics guiding you into a deep state of release, remembrance and inner alignment.

Through intentional breath, movement and sound, you’ll clear stagnation from the body, awaken your life force and attune to the deeper intelligence within. This is a space to honour your body as your altar... to listen, feel, and restore balance across all levels of your being.

PREPARATION TIPS

Arrive a few minutes early to settle in.

Opt for loose, comfortable clothing without metal zippers or snaps.

Please bring a yoga mat, blanket and eye mask (optional).

Eat lightly or avoid food before the session; if needed, a light snack like fruit is acceptable.

Highly recommend to avoid coffee, alcohol or other substances 24 hours before the session if possible.

CONTRAINDICATIONS

Energy Healing and Breathwork results in certain specific physiological changes in the body and also can result in intense physical and emotional release. As a precaution, the following conditions are contraindicated in certain breathwork practices:

Pregnancy (at any stage)

Severe PTSD or trauma

Actively using recreational drugs

Taking any medication that alters brain chemistry like anti-anxiety, anti-depressant, ADD, OCD medications, etc.

Prescription blood thinners or anti-clotting medications

Osteoporosis

Detached Retina

Glaucoma

Kidney disease

High Blood Pressure

Cardiovascular disease, including angina, previous heart attack, or any other cardiovascular issues

Strokes or TIAs

Seizures, history of seizures or other brain/neurological condition or disease

Diagnosis of aneurysm (of any kind)

Uncontrolled thyroid conditions

Diabetes (any type)

Severe Asthma— for mild to moderate asthma, we can discuss but you must bring your inhaler to the session

Epilepsy

Prior diagnosis of bipolar disorder, schizophrenia or previous psychiatric condition

Suicidal ideation

Severe psychosomatic disorders

Recent surgery, stitches or injury

Hospitalisation for any psychiatric condition or emotional crisis within the last 10 years

Any other medical, psychiatric or physical conditions which would impair or affect ability to engage in any activities that involve deep physical and/or emotional release

If you are on the contraindication list, you are not a candidate for the full breathwork technique, but we are happy to discuss modified, gentle breathwork and would recommend 1:1 sessions instead. Please do not continue to book a session if you have any of the contraindications listed above until you speak to the organiser.

By registering for this class, you affirm that you are in good health and physical and mental condition to participate in such a programme.
