Inner Being brings together ten contemporary artists from across Australia, Finland and Japan who question our relationship with trees as communicative beings, and traces of their presence in printed and sculpted matter. Responding in different ways to our connection to non-human beings and themes of environmental destruction, these artists investigate the history and inner nature of timber across various artistic fields.
