Inner city domestic and family violence forum, May 2024
Event description
You are invited to the next Inner city domestic and family violence forum on 7 May 2024, focused on sharing best practice to strengthen service provision, particularly for LGBTIQA+ community.
This interagency brings together organisations dedicated to preventing and responding to domestic and family violence and sexual assault in Sydney. It’s an excellent opportunity for cross-sector collaboration and knowledge sharing.

Location: Redfern Community Centre, 29–53 Hugo Street, Redfern
At this event, you'll have the opportunity to:
- gain insights from sector leaders
- hear about ACON’s LGBTQ+ Sexual Violence Consult Service and reflect and share how we can provide a safer and more inclusive client experience for people using our services
- contribute to stronger partnerships.

Our participants include representatives from specialist services, academia, peak bodies, reference groups, legal and local community services, as well as state government organisations like NSW Health, NSW Department of Communities and Justice, and the NSW Police Force.
