Inclusion Festival 2024!
Get ready to delight your senses at an evening of conversation, music, comedy and interactive art as we celebrate International Day of People with Disability!
Join us in celebration of leadership, creativity and innovation at Petersham Town Hall on 3 December 2024 from 4.30pm to 9pm.
Guests include:
- Nas Campanella, ABC Disability Affairs reporter
- Jamal Abdul, Comedian
- Timothy Hodge, Paralympic Gold Medal Winner
- Jeremy Lowrenčev, Queer Deaf multidisciplinary artist and facilitator.
- Bedelia Lowrenčev, Actor, Community Facilitator and Creative Producer - both Co-Program Coordinators - Access at Sydney Fringe Festival.
- Lara Nahkle, musician, ambassador and music therapist
- Kitty Farrell - Activist and volunteer, Co-chair of IWC Access Committee
- Daniel McDonald, Gadigal Wonnarua visual artist
- DJ ZZARNI, Burmese/Thai street photographer and beatmaker from Marrickville
- Disability Pride Community
Launching with a Disability Pride Flag raising ceremony on the forecourt at 4.30pm, followed by a magical night of music, discussion and entertainment from 6pm to 9pm.
Food and refreshments (including vegan, vegetarian and gluten free options) provided by Two Good Co.
Our accessible, interactive event includes:
- Auslan interpreters
- live captioning
- noise cancelling headphones available
- A wide range of activities for all abilities
- accessible seating that is not up the back
- service animals welcome
- a sensory space
