About the Session
The School to Work Project aims to inspire and equip students with disability through the support of families to actively secure valued jobs and pursue careers. The workshop will provide family members with practical tips and strategies that support their young person with disability in thinking about and securing meaningful employment-related opportunities. We will focus on typical pathways and experiences to employment, where people with disability are valued for their contributions; this personalised and individual approach can ensure better employment outcomes for people with disability.
What We Will Focus On
EOIs for the Inner West Vocational Support Network remain open. We are seeking additional responses to help confirm priority topics for upcoming sessions:
The session will focus on the highest‑ranked topics, which may include:
Available NDIS Employment Supports
What good employment supports look like
Customised Employment (specific strategy in supporting individuals)
Your feedback will help us identify the most relevant workshop topics, understand the information and support that families value most, and shape practical tools and resources that will be genuinely useful.

Parents, carers, and guardians
Siblings and extended family members actively involved in the young person’s life and future planning
