HOW TO PREPARE

⭐No previous experience is required

🍏Avoid eating heavily before the event and stay hydrated through the day

⭐Come with an open mind, trust, and intention to surrender to the process.

WHAT TO BRING

⭐ Your own yoga mat if you have one or there are some at the studio available

⭐ Comfortable, lose warm clothing

⭐ A blanket

⭐ Water

⭐A Journal if you like to journal after you experience

⭐If you get a sore neck, small pillow but best for the practice to keep a straight spine

WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT

After an initial briefing, you will lay down on your yoga mat, close your eyes and the music will begin to facilitate the journey along with verbal guidence to help you go deeper.

With your consent the facilitator may touch or point at different chakra/meridian points on and around your body and work with layers of your energy field to assist your journey

WHAT CAN HAPPEN DURING A SESSION

Every journey will be different for both the individual and the collective. But you can be assured it will be exactly what is needed to be experienced by you in the moment.

The sound and vibration will guide you through the 12 stages of awakening of an Innerdance journey driving your brain waves through cycles of Beta, Alpha, Theta and Delta.

Your body and mind will drop out of the typical 'fight or flight' sympathetic nervous system awakening the deeper parasympathetic nervous system.

During the session one can experience:

⭐Energetic: an awareness of the flows of prana through your body, energy pulsations

⭐Visualisations: vivid lights/colours/images, activation of your third eye, lucid dreaming, visions, potentially astral journeys or reliving past lives

⭐Emotional Release: anger, sadness, fear, catharsis, joy, laughter… do not suppress anything but allow these feelings and emotions to arise and be released. You might want to scream, laugh or cry - all emotional release is highly encouraged and your facilitator with assist

⭐Kinaesthetic: hypnic jerks similar to as you fall asleep, spontaneous/involuntary body movements, yoga poses, shaking, mudras, light language. If your body wants to move on its own, let it. If you want to get up and dance - do!

⭐Bliss: unity, wholeness, connection to source, the divine, receiving inspiring ideas and the feeling of being safe and held

YOUR FACILITATOR

James is a 200hr certified Ashatanga yoga teacher who quit his corporate job in 2011 and travelled extensively through South America, Europe, India and Asia for over two and a half years. He was introduced to Innerdance by a friend in the Philippines in 2014. There he completed his first Innerdance Energy School with Pi Villarazza the founder of Innerdance. This had a transformative effect on his life opening up his understanding of energy work and self healing. He completed a second Innerdance Energy School with Pi in 2017 and has been holding space for private and group Innerdance sessions in Perth since 2019. James looks forward to sharing the practice of Innerdance with you.
