To celebrate the release of her latest album, “Golden Wreath”, Innessa performs a thoughtfully crafted concert of her new music, with the whimsical, enigmatic elements that are core to her style. www.innessamusic.com
Alongside her unique and multi-dimensional music, Innessa shares stories of her musical journey in a foreign country. For this performance, she will be joined by ethnic multi-instrumentalist Benjamin Drozdovskii (balalaika, accordion and violin).
You will also have the opportunity to experience mouth-watering Georgian delicacies, accompanied by your favourite beverage.
Rezo Teimurazov, a highly acclaimed chef with over two decades of expertise. Having graced the kitchens of esteemed restaurants in Georgia, Ukraine, Russia, and Australia, his culinary prowess is unmatched. Rezo will travel from Brisbane to delight us with his famous shashlik, khachapuri, Georgian salads, and signature sauces on the veranda of the theatre before the concert.
To support Innessa, Linsey Pollak will open the night with his captivating solo performance. In this special segment, Linsey will introduce the audience to some of the unique woodwind instruments he has invented. His journey to create these instruments was inspired by a particular sound he once heard in a dream, leading him on a fascinating quest to bring that sound to life.
