Innovation at Global Scale: How ZURU Tech is Disrupting Construction via Design
Date: Wednesday, 13th September, 2023
Time: 5:00pm - 7:30pm
Venue: Priority One
The September 2023 Design and Innovation Meetup promises to be a real treat, as our focus moves to innovation at global scale.
We are excited to have Craig Shannon from Globex, who is part of the ZURU Tech team, building an incredible solution that essentially automates the process of designing and building your own home or commercial premises.
Check it out here https://zuru.tech/ - this is amazing stuff.
Craig is a leader at Zuru Tech, having been there for nearly 2 years since selling Globex Engineering to Zuru. After graduating from Auckland University with a BE Mech (hons), Craig has had a variety of roles in and around product development, in both large and small organizations, in NZ and abroad. Craig is passionate about building product design capabilities in NZ.
Craig is working with teams across Italy, India, China and New Zealand, who are developing the architectural design and manufacturing software AND state-of-the-art and fully automated production plants. He will be sharing his experiences and insights from working on ZURU Tech, there will also be plenty of opportunity for questions and discussion. This is a unique opportunity to get under the hood of a global innovation project that has huge scale and even bigger ambition!
So, share it around, grab some friends and come along and join us.
Light snacks and refreshments will be provided.
Please RSVP by Monday, 11th September
PLEASE NOTE – you are welcome to arrive any time from 4:45 PM, our speakers will get underway around 5:30 PM. We expect the ‘plenary’ part of the Meetup to finish at 7PM, but you are welcome to stay on and continue networking.
