Innovation in Action - Alcoa

Join us at this free event to take a look behind the scenes of Alcoa Pinjarra Alumina Refinery and discover what engineers, lab managers and environmental scientists actually do at a refinery. We'll look at the importance of systems, data, and how Alcoa approach innovation a continuous process.

You will enjoy this event if you have an interest or you're considering a career in engineering, chemistry, environmental science or the mining industry.

This event is part of 'Innovation in Action', a six-part video series that showcases local organisations innovating in their field through the implementation of science, technology, engineering or mathematics (STEM).  Innovation in Action aims to raise awareness about the types of STEM careers available in the Peel region.

At this event we will watch the short film about Alcoa Pinjarra Alumina Refinery, hear from the team in a panel discussion and take the time to mingle over some complimentary food and drink.
