Inside the Archives

This session will provide exclusive access to explore some of the Library’s Archive Collections. The Local Studies Team have each chosen some of their favourite items, artefacts, and memorabilia, including original land grants, pictures, maps and photographs from well-known historic people, places and events. Items from collections including theatres, festivals, commercial centres, clubs, hospitals, and village histories will all be covered. The team will share the stories behind these items, and show you how to access them, both in the library and online.
