Calling all local writers! Join us in our Okemos event studio for an afternoon of learning, networking, and fun!
Here’s what you can expect:
An author panel featuring three amazing, Michigan-based published authors
Featured authors: Sophfronia Scott, Sarah Arthur, and Christina Wyman
A bookseller panel that will include general tips related to how to submit event proposals, market your book, and build relationships with local bookstores
Featured booksellers: Our events coordinator and our marketing manager
A writing break-out session where participants can choose to network, workshop with fellow authors, or solo write/edit their work
Information on how to reach out to us if you are interested in getting your book stocked on our shelves, or if you are interested in being considered for an event
Please note: We will not accept any in-person pitches or proposals, and we will not make any firm decisions regarding our stock or events calendar at the event

This event is perfect for writers of all stages, especially writers who are curious about the different paths to publishing, how to market their books, and how to build relationships within the book community
We love writers of all ages, however, this event is recommended for adults
We love seeing who is planning to join us! Tickets are mandatory for this event. The cost of your ticket will help us provide light refreshments as well as a mini author package.
