Michael Cloud Duguay
Michael Cloud Duguay is a composer, producer, accordionist, and multidisciplinary musician based in Peterborough (Nogojiwanong), Ontario. Grounded in a deeply collaborative, radical DIY ethic, Duguay first emerged in the early-2000s Canadian underground music community. His practice spans experimental folk, ambient soundscapes, field recordings, and contemporary creative music.
Over the years, Duguay has acted as a central organizer, producer, and mentor within regional arts communities across Canada, prioritizing community-building, place-based listening, and collaborative improvisation.
His acclaimed project, Kingdom Come, Kingdom Go (released on Watch That Ends The Night Records), explores the organ through a lens of community, heritage, and preservation. The work stemmed from a thousand-mile expedition across remote outports and towns in Newfoundland, recording aging and disappearing church organs alongside ambient environmental sounds, spoken testimony, and ensemble arrangements.
For live performances, interpretations of the album material are reproduced on custom digital MIDI organ instruments developed by engineer Jake Nicoll, who painstakingly recorded samples of seven organs from across Newfoundland to precisely replicate the sound of those heard on the record.
Duguay is joined for this performance by musicians Andrew MacKelvie (Many Worlds, New Hermitage, Scions), Dave Grenon (Joyful Joyful, Scions), and Markus Lake (Markus Floats, Egyptian Cotton Arkestra).

Her songwriting explores themes ranging from romance to heartbreak, balancing dark, emotional storytelling with warmth and authenticity.
