Our Inspire Talks series are a series of informative talks from world class speakers and leaders in their fields.

Hear from Pediatric Surgeon Gordon Thomas, and Former NRL Player David Simmons, on the difference Jesus makes.

Dr Gordon Thomas 

A paediatric general and transplant surgeon and the Head of General surgery  at the Children’s Hospital at Westmead. He’s been working as a surgeon for over 30 years. He does liver and kidney transplants in children in addition to managing an interesting variety of surgical conditions in children. Originally from India, Gordon and his wife Susanna moved to Sydney 12 years ago.  They live in the Hills and have two adult daughters.

David Simmons

David Simmons played professional Rugby League for 13 years. Upon retiring he studied at Moore college before becoming Assistant Minister at Emu Plains Anglican Church where he is today. He lives with his wife Samantha, 4 kids – Andi, Caleb, Xavier and Zoe – and a loveable boxer called Boj.
