Our Inspire Talks series are a series of informative talks from world class speakers and leaders in their fields.

These sessions are being filmed to be published on YouTube, and by booking a ticket you will be part of our small live audience, and have opportunity to engage with our speakers and participate in a QnA segment at the end of the session.

Hear from John Best, ex Wallabies team sports physician and Ashley Fell, Director of Advisory at McCrindle Research, about the difference Jesus makes in their lives.

This session commences at 3:30pm sharp, arrival from 3:10pm to be seated in time for filming to begin. Please note if you are late, due to the live nature of filming, you will not be able to attend this session.

John Best

Dr John Best is a Specialist Sports and Exercise Medicine Physician with the Orthosports Group in Sydney.

John enjoys a number of clinical areas in sports medicine, in particular rugby medicine. He had been heavily involved with the Australian Rugby Union for almost 15 years.  This included serving as the Australian Team (Wallabies) team physician from 1994-2000 including the 1999 World Cup tournament when the Wallabies were world champions. His other roles with Australian Rugby included Medical Director, Sports Science Consultant (High-Performance Unit), and Tournament Medical Officer for Rugby World Cup 2003.  He has represented Australian Rugby on the International Rugby Board’s Medical Advisory and Anti-doping Committees working in areas of safety and player well-being.

Ashley Fell

Director of Advisory at McCrindle Research.

Ashley Fell is a social researcher, author, TEDx speaker and Director of Advisory at the internationally recognised McCrindle. As a trends analyst and media commentator she understands how to effectively communicate across diverse audiences.
From her experience in managing media relations, social media platforms and content creation, Ashley advises on how to achieve cut through in message-saturated times. She is an expert in how to communicate across generational barriers. She is the author of two books on leadership and generational insights.

Beyond her commercial work Ashley is passionate about equipping Christians to understand the times and so share their faith in culturally relevant ways. Ashley is married to Michael and they are actively involved in their local church: St Paul’s Castle Hill in Sydney.

With academic qualifications in communications, an ongoing role in managing the deployment and visualisation of national and international research studies, and with her position leading the advisory strategy at McCrindle, Ashley brings robust, research-based and experienced content to her engaging presentations and consulting.

Inspire Talks are free events, capacity is limited so booking is essential.
