Throughout its fifty-year history, Fremantle Press has championed Western Australian writing and storytelling.

In her publishing memoir, A Tale of Two Publishing Houses, Linda Martin documents the trailblazing work commenced by Ray Coffey as Fremantle Press's first publisher. She highlights his nurturing of Aboriginal voices and stories - work that resulted in landmark publications such as Sally Morgan's My Place.

In this session, Linda Martin will interview Aboriginal writers Sabrina Dudgeon-Swift and Casey Mulder to explore the important influence that such books have had on their own writing and publishing practices.

Things to note:
- This is a free event but bookings are encouraged.

- Please note that the Library will close to the general public at 6pm and reopen for this event at 6.15pm.
