This new timing will allow us to accommodate a broader range of participants, ensuring that more community members, students, and educators can benefit from the inspiring insights and experiences of the women leaders in defence. We are committed to making this event as inclusive and impactful as possible, and we appreciate your understanding and support as we work towards a successful event next year.

It is with great pleasure that the Australia Day Council of South Australia launch the next iteration of our Inspiring Women Series, Inspiring Women Impacting the World and Beyond – Women In Defence.  

The event will commence with keynote speeches delivered by our distinguished speakers, followed by a dynamic in-conversation panel discussion. This event aims to provide both insightful narratives and engaging dialogue, fostering a deeper understanding of the pivotal role women play in the defence industry.

• Kate van Hilst, First Assistant Director General SSN Construction, Australian Submarine Agency.  

• Libby Day, Chief Executive Officer, Defence Teaming Centre. As the CEO of the Defence Teaming Centre.
